Dead malls

I can vaguely remember checking a black background site that had links to dead malls; their pictures and discussions. I think it could have been deadmallsdOtcom and considering it was registered in 2000 this would check out. To this day Dan Bell, Proper People and more have great videos capturing hidden hallways, mold, and the lost civilization that was my childhood and others workplace. These malls and the site of their graves are instilled into every thought I have walking through occupied buildings. I always think as I walk throught an office or hallway or store or workplace could be a grave for only fond memories and forgotten dreams. The mall of my yester years was booming with the youth on the deck and these were people of the community. There is a change that was subtle at first and has become the norm, as are the aggressive solicitors within the mall. This is highlighted in multiple articles online from around 2003 onward. These kiosk plague the modern mall. To the point, a dead mall is where the nostalgia is or was; and the modernity seems to have gone awry to risky sites like Amazon. The mall is a place I still don’t frequent but when I do I let my mind play and I roam aimlessly with headphones and enjoy the nostalgia.
