Pirate Life

I have recently created this entire ship. Suspendedatomdotcom and within this ship I have to manage it. I am captain I am mate I am deckhand I am sailor and passenger. I stand aboard the rickety deck; I stare into the abyss. I feel the wind in my hair, I see the possibilities. I feel the water on my face. I don’t picture cool blue water as seen in a film like ‘Captain Ron’ instead I see filthy water poured on my face by a passing scoundrel. I am a sailor alright but not with crew or funds. Moxie Marlinspike sailed but he sailed the true ocean blue. Now he sails https://moxie.org/blog/ and had created Signal and the famous ratchet crypto within. In my sea I set up a small wiki and within the moment the site is up, it is boarded and infested. I eventually gave up as my real reason was experimentation. The benefits of having space for me outweigh the risk and every tinker is a learning experience and pleasure. I find I haven’t done as much research into providers of services as I’d like; these things are not as important as at least being up and floating. I harness the great powers of the web in dreams of being a twit.tv or a krebsonsecurity.com. Not to emulate or copy but to stake out and explore, learn, innovate and create. My favorite part is unlocking my inner insights and my fondest memories of exploring. More important to get them out and on paper. Even when I sit imagining, my typing the visions of old and the what could come stride through like a journey I can’t wait to be on in which I am already aboard. There will always be more to come.
